Public Housing Tenant Activities

Tenant Association

Each public housing development has an active tenant association. Regular meetings are held and activities are planned. The tenant association sponsors weekly activities, social events and pot-lucks.

Resident Advisory Board (RAB)

The Resident Advisory Board (RAB) is comprised of public housing residents and Section 8 participants. The goal of RAB is for program participants to provide MHA with recommendations in the development of the PHA Plan or the agency’s annual planning.

Residents are given the opportunity to provide input and/or share concerns with the RAB coordinator on anything concerning the program they are participating in.
