Notice: The Municipal Housing Agency of Council Bluffs (MHACB) will accept applications for Foster Youth to Independence Housing Vouchers on Friday, May 16th, 2025. Eligible individuals are 18-24 years of age, have left or will leave foster care within 180 days in accordance with a transition plan described in section 475(5)(H) of the Social Security Act, and are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Applications can be submitted online at mhacb.org/apply-fyi or in person at 300 W. Broadway STE 38 Council Bluffs, IA 51503 between 8:00am and 4:00pm. Copies of the application can be emailed or mailed in advance by request. Please call 712.322.6931 to request an application.
